Colegio de Nuestra Señora la Antigua.

Chamado Colégio del Cardenal ou Nuestra Señora de la Antigua, é datado do século XVI e XVII. É um grande complexo formado por mosteiro e igreja com uma grande influência do arquitecto renascentista Juan de Herrera. A parte central da fachada do mosteiro se divide em dois compartimentos. Na parte baixa, com muro em alto-relevo se entra para o templo, flanqueado por colunas dóricas em duas ordens. A parte superior com pilares jónicos encontra-se um brasão de armas do Cardeal de Castro e Espanha. O claustro dos escudos situa-se no interior.

Also known as College of El Cardenal or Nuestra Señora de la Antigua. It dates from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is a major complex made up of monastery and church, and shows considerable influence from the Renaissance architect Juan de Herrera. The central body of the monastery facade is divided into two compartments. On the lower part, with an embossed wall, the entrance doorway leads into the church, flanked by Doric columns in two orders. The upper part, with Ionic pilasters, is topped with a straight pediment and shows the arms of Cardinal Rodrigo de Castro and Spain. The Cloister of the Shields lies inside.
Monforte de Lemos is a town and municipality northwestern Spain, in the province of Lugo region of Galicia.
